World Acupuncture Day Offer

acupuncture

Hi there,

The World Acupuncture Day, on 15th November is the initiative of UNESCO and the World Health Organization to highlight the scientific evidence for acupuncture, and to encourage it's use in mainstream healthcare systems.

The British Acupuncture Council is using World Acupuncture Day to try to encourage GPs to refer to BAC members, as the BAC is the only acupuncture professional body that is a member of the Professional Standards Authority, thereby guaranteeing the safety, education and continuing development of it's members. Other registered bodies of the PSA include the General Medical Council and the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Acupuncture is used by many people in the UK for a range of conditions including back and neck pain, mood disorders such as anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder, and sleep problems – conditions which place huge pressure on primary care.

Since its early origins in China, the use of acupuncture has spread all over the world. As well as being virtually painless, acupuncture is safe, free from side effects, and there is a growing body of evidence to support its efficacy in areas as diverse as stroke, cardiology and cancer care.

To mark the occasion, I am offering a consultation and first treatment for £60, usual price £90. You can call to see if acupuncture is suitable for your condition on 07553 636841.
